Job Description

Junglee Games, a leading player in the online real money gaming industry in India, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager Legal. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional with a strong background in IP law, Litigation and General Commercial Matters combined with a genuine passion for the gaming industry. Candidates who have prior experience in E-commerce, Digital Industry, Gaming or high-paced technology environments are ideal for this role.

As a Senior Manager-Legal, you will play a crucial role in managing intellectual property (IP) matters, litigation, M&A and General Corporate Advisory for the Company. You will be responsible for IP enforcement, software licensing and SAAS product-related legal matters.

\xe2\x97\x8f Provide commercial legal advice on a wide variety of legal matters directly related to the business, like opinions and helping the business effectively manage and mitigate risks.

\xe2\x97\x8f Extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, analyzing and summarizing various legal documents, especially contracts of various kinds, including licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, game development agreements and miscellaneous service agreements.

\xe2\x97\x8f Develop and implement strategies to protect the company\'s intellectual property rights.

\xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the development and creative teams, to ensure IP protection throughout the game development process.

\xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address software licensing requirements and resolve any legal disputes.

\xe2\x97\x8f Provide legal support for the development, launch, and maintenance of Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) products. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting SAAS products, ensuring compliance and mitigating legal risks.

\xe2\x97\x8f Manage and oversee litigation matters, including disputes related to intellectual property, contracts, and general commercial issues.

\xe2\x97\x8f Develop litigation strategies, conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide guidance to internal stakeholders throughout the litigation process.

\xe2\x97\x8f Assess legal risks associated with business activities and propose risk mitigation strategies.

\xe2\x97\x8f Conduct internal training on legal topics to enhance legal awareness within the organization.

Requirements

\xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor\'s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.

\xe2\x97\x8f Post-qualification experience of 7-9 years in IP, Litigation, General Corporate and M&A

\xe2\x97\x8f Strong knowledge of Indian IP laws and experience in managing litigation matters within the gaming or technology industry.

\xe2\x97\x8f Solid understanding of software licensing agreements and SAAS products.

\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent negotiation, drafting and communication skills.

\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to thrive in a high-paced, dynamic work environment.

\xe2\x97\x8f Genuine passion for the gaming industry.
