POSITION DESCRIPTION Job Title: Senior Strategy Analyst, Higher Education Location : India (Noida/Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai) Department: Strategy & Innovation, Academia & Government Reports to: Senior Director, Academia & Higher Education Strategy Job Summary Clarivate\'s A&G segment is the largest business unit at Clarivate, generating $1.3B in annual revenue through providing cutting edge software, analytics, and data solutions to the global higher education, public library, and governmental community. Higher education makes up the largest part of our customer base, where over 10,000 of the leading academic institutions use our solutions to help accelerate research and enhance education. Most notably, 99% of the world\'s top 400 universities use our products. Prominent products include analytics tools (e.g., Web of Science, InCites), content aggregation platforms (e.g., ProQuest One, eBook Central), and library software (e.g., Alma, Polaris). We are looking for a Higher Education Strategy Analyst who can analyze quantitative & qualitative data and develop deliverables to guide our strategy for our Academia & Government business. The Analyst will provide the data-driven insights needed to drive the overall strategy that will meet our customers\' changing needs in these highly dynamic times. This role will play a critical role in driving cross-business unit strategy, M&A strategy & execution, market & competitive intelligence, and innovation opportunity identification & scoping. The senior analyst will report directly into the Senior Director of Academia & Higher Education Strategy. About you (Skills & Experience Required) Graduate/Post-Graduate in any university field. At least 2-4 years of experience in edtech or higher education with a focus on strategy, management consulting, market research, and/or higher education administration experience. Specialization or spikes in one or more of the following domain areas: Academic Research, Library Management, Education Technology, Research Funding, Academic Publishing Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills with the ability to work in highly matrixed environment Experience working in an international environment which includes the US and Europe and should be comfortable communicating and engaging with clients and colleagues from diverse countries and cultures. Experience with all Microsoft Office Suite products is critical, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook It would be great if you also had the following: Superior and comprehensive understanding of the research & library environment Proven ability to conceptualize new ideas and develop programs to capitalize on those ideas Ability to work with Product team and influence roadmap/strategy to align with current and future customer needs MS/MPH/MBA/PhD What will you be doing in this role Conduct in-depth research and analysis in support of developing new offerings and services that compliment, leverage, and utilize the Clarivate product suite Work across Clarivate to collect relevant data to develop white space analysis and inform commercial opportunities and focus Support Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board presentations through analysis and PowerPoint slide development Develop high quality presentations in support of analysis and communicating the overarching strategy Maintain and enhance Higher Education expertise and professional development through networking, unstructured learnings, workshops, formal trainings and conferences Stay informed regarding industry trends and developments Support company-wide investor decks, M&A, and market and competitive intelligence Contribute to the social environment by joining firm-building activities including knowledge sharing, internal training sessions and recruiting top talent Hours of Work Standard working hours are 12 PM -9 PM IST timings At Clarivate, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all persons with respect to hiring, compensation, promotion, training and other terms, conditions and privileges of employment.
