ABOUT THE ROLE Develop and implement ETL scripts using manual or tools pertaining to the project

Track and maintain process and documentation subject area expected as per standards

Collaborate with clients to understand scope, architecture and suggest optimum testing scope for the projects

Translate business requirement to technical requirement and document the same as part of an RTM

Support leads in authoring test approach

Essential for the role 7 experience on ETL Testing with good experience working in Data Engineering projects and Enterprise Datawarehouse systems.

A good understanding of databases and source systems.

Experience writing complex SQL queries and validation of Enterprise Data Warehouse Applications.

Strong in validation of Visual Analytics reports using tools like Power BI, MicroStrategy, etc. and running different types of test within the same.

Strong in ETL Testing with any industry ETL tool like Talend, Informatica, Data Stage.

Good knowledge in any RDBMS like AWS Redshift/Postgres/Oracle/SQL Server.

Identifies, manages, and resolves defects during testing cycles demonstrating a test management tool like JIRA, HP ALM. Also, supports or leads UAT process, when appropriate.

Knowledge of Automation and Automation framework within ETL space.

Desirable for the role Experience working with global stakeholders

Experience in Life Sciences is a plus and specifically Clinical Trial datasets.

Demonstrate initiative, strong customer orientation, and cross-cultural working

Experience of delivering solutions within IT projects delivered through Agile methodologies.

Working with API testing and data extraction testing from API.

Knowledge on XQuery and xml validations.

UNIX and shell programming knowledge.

R Scripting most preferred

Python experience and knowledge of CI/CD Pipeline.
