Developing a local M&C strategy in support of the BU strategic goals and in partnership with stakeholders
Creating plans that reinforce common messages and themes (e.g., innovation) in the BU
Evolving M&C plans due to shifts or changes in the priorities in the BU
Ensuring messaging help tell a single CGI story
Drafting engaging content across available channels: E-mail, intranet, internal networking platforms, social media, and video platform.
Drafting materials and preparing presentations aimed at members and other identified audiences
Supporting leaders in engaging with members
Exploring new channels and ways of communicating to support evolving digital M&C practices
Managing the Annual Tour and the quarterly All Hands
Other responsibilities
Presenting M&C Plans and how it is tracking to achieve alignment across all running projects and achieve a view of the entire SBU\xe2\x80\x99s Marketing and Communications activities.
Ensure that quality for output is strictly upheld by ensuring quality and execution to the CGI Brand
Adhering to processes set within CGI and the local team
Maintain an updated issues and escalations log to ensure problems are documented and solved
Management responsibilities
Coaching next level team members for readiness in succession planning
Providing input to budgets for activities
Provide feedback on the performance of members
Measures
OSAP scores and engagement scores
Updated and on time execution of M&C plans
Adherence to basics, e.g. completing training, timesheets and ad hoc deadlines as requested
Quality and Compliance
The Business Partner is responsible for ensuring adherence for processes and procedures put in place for the team and the Management Foundation are adhered to.
Any working procedures updated should be in line with the document management policy
Actions arising from internal audits should be dealt with in a timely manner to ensure compliance is maintained
Ensure that CGI policies on Data Protection must be strictly complied with
Security Responsibilities
As a member of CGI, the member shall be responsible for the security of the information and shall ensure that appropriate measures are taken to preserve its confidentiality, integrity and availability for use. The following are basic security obligations:
Be aware of one\xe2\x80\x99s obligation under legislation governing data protection, computer misuse, copyright protection,
intellectual property, the retention of public records and the common law;
Act with propriety in the use of the business units\xe2\x80\x99 Information resources;
Familiarize with and conform to the Information Security policy and related Standards, Guidelines, etc;
Report immediately to one\xe2\x80\x99s Line Manager and Information Security Officer, any breaches, or suspected breaches, of the CGI Information Security policy.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
7-10 years of experience working in Marketing and Communications disciplines, preferably in an IT or professional services company
Proven leadership in independently designing and executing multi-channel campaigns
Team player who understands integrated M&C planning, message development, marketing and sales collateral, events management, advertising, and communications activities
Understands how to create plans and creative briefs
Excellent command of English
Professional maturity and executive presence \xe2\x80\x93 the ability to achieve and maintain excellent relationships with the executive team
Flexibility to work in a highly-dynamic, demanding environment with tight deadlines
Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills
Self-starter who has project management skills
Degree educated in related field (marketing, Marketing and Communications, etc.)
Flexibility to work additional hours in line with business needs and/or critical deadlines
Flexibility to travel, as needed
