Job Title - Business Functional Analyst Associate

Location \xe2\x80\x93 Pune

Role Description:

The business which this development team is supporting is the lending department within Private Bank Germany. The whole life cycle for mortgage and consumer loans as well as securitization solutions for these loans is covered within the department and supported by the several teams.

To extend and maintain these systems, an Functional Analyst is required.

The key objective of this role is to bridge the gap between the client\xe2\x80\x99s needs and the technical delivery team and to help successfully deliver projects within this diverse and challenging space. The Functional Analyst will be heavily involved at all stages of the software delivery lifecycle from initial scoping, detailed analysis exercises through to the testing always in collaboration with the IT team to deliver working software on high quality.

The role requires an enthusiastic, pragmatic self-starter who wants to solve problems by delivering quality and cost-effective solutions through the employment of excellent business analysis techniques and functional domain knowledge. The role also includes participation in L3 production support activities.

Your key responsibilities

• Challenging, capturing, and describing requirements according to the quality standards operating within the team
• Pro-active in identifying cost effective solutions to business problems.
• Acting as the voice of the client throughout the development process
• Liaising with all parties (Business, Operations, IT delivery team) involved to ensure successful delivery.
• Assisting and supporting QAT, SIT and UAT
• Ensuring agreed analysis deliverables are prepared according to deadline of the projects.
• Mediating and resolving issues as and when they arise
• Close co-operation with other teams in the Bank to ensure strategic initiatives are leveraged.
• Identifying areas where we can improve the analysis and delivery capabilities of the wider team.
• Keeping aware of the latest industry trends and best practice to improve the team.

Your skills and experience

• Outstanding analysis skills comprising demonstrable experience of all aspects of analysis such as business process modelling, use cases/user story writing, data modelling. All the above in the context and use of the UML standards.
• Experience in working on projects requiring data analysis (including SQL)
• Previous Financial Domain experience is a plus.
• Beneficial to understand financial products especially in the Lending area.
• Comfortable working within a full project life cycle from initiation through to delivery
• Experience of working with an agile methodology would be an advantage.
• Experience in identifying and documenting client technical needs, internal structures, procedures, workflows, and systems
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Flexible - keen to learn new technologies and to extend business domain knowledge.
• Best Problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrable success in meeting deadlines and operating with clients and vendors.
• Work to schedules, potentially across multiple projects and teams
• Pragmatic yet showing a high attention to detail.
• Educated to degree level.
