Job Description
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION: This position is part of a team of analysts that supports the Electrical Sector \xe2\x80\x93 Americas. It\xe2\x80\x99s primarily responsible for delivering and supporting projects, Database Management and Reporting of data related to sales, customers and pricing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: A. Partner with the business, sales and pricing team to conduct pricing development studies aimed to improve pricing efficiency and effectiveness.
B. Manage databases and homegrown tools and identify ways to use existing data in more productive ways.
C. Possess knowledge and experience in the acquisition, analysis, and display of data; and in extraction of information and knowledge from that data in supports decision making to business leaders.
D. Work on process efficiency by automation and smart analytics to remove redundant activities in pricing operation processes.
E. Support in executing projects of strategic importance in the areas of Price Management
F. Provide ongoing analytical support to Business Division and various levels of management in the organization related to Pricing and other issues.
G. Support in making consulting/analysis to business leaders, Finance leaders & sales leaders in pricing processes that builds pricing sophistication and overall profitability, which drive sustainable change and enhanced business results
Qualifications:
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
- Minimum Graduate in Mathematics, Business, Economics. MBA (Marketing) degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience \xe2\x80\x93 manufacturing industry exposure preferred.
- Statistical and Mathematical Modeling knowledge
- Strong analytical skills
- Structured approach to Problem solving
- Business proficiency in the following areas is required:
- Strong business acumen
- Understanding of costing concepts and terminology
- Ability to manage a large amount of transactional data and determine trends up to part number level with win-loss analysis using statistical and analytical tools.
- Good organizational and time management skills, strong analytical skills and the inter-personal skills to interact with all levels of management.
- Highly motivated individual with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Technical proficiency in following areas is required:
- MS \xe2\x80\x93 Access, MS- Excel, Web-Based Tools,
- Tableau experience preferred
