Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Introduction to role:
The Business Analyst has experience performing business analysis and design delivering small scale business change activities; or as a contributor to a large scale or global business change. The Business Analyst operates with interactive communication, demonstrating inclusion and cultural sensitivity. The role will partner with the platform team members, business product owners, product managers, SMEs to support the development of solutions across the R&D Regulatory and Quality value stream, ensuring that the proposed solutions meet established AstraZeneca quality and compliance standards and business solution needs.

Accountabilities:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying business needs, assessing and defining areas for improvement, and proactively seeking out opportunities to enhance and improve in line with strategic goals. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including business partners, SMEs, product owners, and IT platform managers to develop and maintain the business relationship, support business process change, and act as a point of contact for application development.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Prior experience of performing a similar role in the R&D regulatory or quality space.
• Experience and functional understanding of registration, tracking, document management and publishing.
• Experience of using business analysis tools/techniques to design and deliver business change
• Exposure to Agile Methodology and JIRA
• Strong engagement, communication and facilitation skills, including presentation and influencing skills
• Experience of working in a regulated environment
• Experience of working with third party suppliers/vendors
• Business acumen, negotiation and influencing capabilities
• Presentation, Networking, Communication & Facilitation
• Customer Focus and Stakeholder Management
• Business Process and Requirements Management.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Degree in relevant discipline or formal certification in business analysis practice
• Experience of working in a global organization
• Pharmaceutical business awareness//business domain knowledge
• User Centric Design (User Experience, User Interface Design and Business Process Design)
