Introduction: IPMDM Technology team is building a new strategic Reference Data System (\xe2\x80\x9cStargate\xe2\x80\x9d) powered by Goldensource EDM Platform. This role would be to lead the development of Stargate Program using the Subject Matter Expertise of the Goldensource, Instrument and Pricing Reference Data Knowledge and Software Engineering skills of the candidate. This is a techno-functional role where candidate is expected to be involved in all stages of software development, focusing on requirement Gathering, data analysis as well as troubleshooting, investigation and root-cause analysis of production support issues. This role is expected to work closely with our global data consumers and stakeholders within Barclays. What will you be doing?

• Lead Stargate Technology Team to build and Deliver the Stargate Reference and Pricing Data Platform
• Implement proper SDLC and Development Control to the entire global team delivering Stargate Platform
• Work with Consumer Adoptions Stream, Data Remediation Team, Distribution Team to build the platform in eternity
• Own the Definition of Done, JIRA Platforms and reporting for the Stargate Program Development
• Work within a globally distributed teams to deliver business features for global sales and trading platform.
• Work with Stargate Project and Program managers to plan, provide proper visibility and status on each of the deliverables
• Work with Operations and Production Support to provide solutions, tools and technique to reduce manual efforts
• Implement UAT/Production handover procedures to deliver software monthly or bi-weekly into production
• Own JIRA artefacts of all such user stories and follow through the JIRA items all the way in their lifecycle
• Improve Platform Stability, Performance and de-risk platform by addressing risk, control and audit issues

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• In depth and extensive knowledge of building Instrument and Pricing Reference Data Platforms in Large Financial Services business
• In depth and extensive knowledge and experience in building with Goldensource Technology
• Experience in working in Large Sell Side or Buy Side Organizations as Team Lead for delivering Instrument and Pricing Reference Data
• Broad knowledge in various Instrument Asset Classes like Fixed Income, Equity, Funds and Derivatives
• Experience with acquiring, ingesting and publishing large Data Vendor Feeds like Bloomberg, Refinitiv Data Scope Plus etc.
• Proven ability to influence and manage across multiple teams and regions to deliver solutions to complex problems
• Ability to build strong relationships with the application technology owners who would be consumers of the Stargate application
• Excellent communication and relationship skills and strong stakeholder management
• Extensive working experience with JIRA, SharePoint and Confluence
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-driven, Self-motivated, Disciplined and enthusiastic about owning the development and delivery of the technology platform.
• Extensive SDLC experience using Agile preferably SCRUM
• Needs to be a good team player working in a follow-the-sun model of development
