We are looking for a highly qualified and broadly experienced \xe2\x80\x9cSenior Aviation Planner\xe2\x80\x9d to further build our existing strong capability in the Aviation sector. Jacobs business continues to grow to meet the needs of our clients who are investing in this capacity and across the region. This is a full-time position and this individual will be based in our Jacobs India office. Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Lead the technical delivery for Aviation Planning and airport advisory consultancy
• Lead on or support the technical delivery of Airport master-planning work for a wide range of projects.
• Prepare reports, bids and tenders.
• Design, analyze and plan airside, terminal and landside concepts
• Designing and implementing improvements to existing airport facilities or proposing new construction projects
• Assess existing airports, terminals, airfields, operations, cargo, operations.
• Lead on or support feasibility studies and technical validation studies
• Developing plans for new airports or expanding existing ones based on projected growth in air traffic volume over a 10- to 20-year period
• Preparing reports on traffic patterns and activity at airports, including delays, accidents, and other problems that occur during peak hours
• Preparing detailed drawings of airport layouts showing runways, terminals, hangars, and other structures
• Carry out market assessments, including macroeconomics, competition, airlines, tourism, catchment area, evaluation of demand, etc.

• Master Degree Qualified in a Planning/ Architecture/ Civil/ Aviation discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant airport planning experience
• A proven track record in an Airport planning role \xe2\x80\x93 ideally with experience in terminal and/or airside planning;
• Familiarity with DGCA/ICAO/AAI/FAA Standards and advisory circulars that pertain to the planning and design incorporated into the planning studies.
• Familiarity with National Code pertaining to airport planning and design is required; local, and state is preferred.
• Knowledge of the environmental process is a plus.
• Possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (other model developing skills such as simulation are also a positive)
• Strong data analysis and presentational skills
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Experience of international airfield design standards
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines;
• Ability to prioritize and respond to the needs of multiple projects and managers
• Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to a scientific and non-scientific audience.
• Competent self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives.
