Job Title: Senior Automation Tester

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester with extensive experience in Playwright to lead and enhance our automation testing efforts. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level QA engineers in automation best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality standards.
• Drive automation strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for complex web applications.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and ensure timely defect resolution.
• Stay updated with emerging tools and technologies in automation testing.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation.
• Proven hands-on experience with Playwright (mandatory).
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or similar programming languages.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead projects and manage priorities effectively.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (mandatory).
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline is a plus.
