Senior Automation Specialist - (Java + Selenium)

We are looking for a well experienced automation test engineer who can working in fast-paced environments, handling testing roles and responsibilities and scale up to the demands of agile project development. A strong testing team member with good appetite for understanding complex business practices and an interest and aptitude to come up with strong business scenarios and test cases / test scripts as well as learning across multiple roles and responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities
1. Work independently with self-drive and minimum monitoring
2. Understand system specifications.
3. Provide estimates on Test resources and effort to support prioritization and planning
4. Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective scenarios and test plans
5. Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results
6. Create logs to document testing phases and defects
7. Report bugs and errors to development teams - knowledge of JIRA is an added advantage
8. Assist development team to troubleshoot issues
9. Plan regression and conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
10. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
11. Show flexibility and understanding to occasionally work within tight deadlines
12. Ensure successful production implementation with complete ownership of project.
13. Ensure customer success including delivering fixes/patches as needed
14. Ability to learn automation tools as part of the work and implement automation during the course of project, as demanded
Mandatory Skills:
1. 4 - 8 years of experience on Automation testing
2. Strong understanding of Java Scripting
3. 3+ Years of Selenium automation experience is a must
4. Good understanding of testing framework - either Cucumber or TestNG
5. Work experience on API testing
6. Work experience on SQL queries and coding
7. Good understanding on banking domain
