About the role

Plan and manage the test cycles and test cases, improve the the test coverage and ensure the quality of the product, Design and develop automated scripts and make the test cases part of CT process to the extend possible, complete the assigned project/module/task with minimal direct supervision. Guide and mentor the junior engineers in the team, Quick and fast resolution to the field issues where code change is not required, Support the development team in fixing the issues by providing logs and steps to recreate, logs and tracks defects and raise concerns and escalations as and when required,

What you\'ll do

Development and execute the test plans, be a subject matter expert of the product, contribute to the automation road map, Involve in the requirements analysis and design discussions, Contribute the faster closure of the field issues

Owns and is accountable for the quality of the product/module, Contribute to the on-time and on quality delivery to the product, Organize and run meetings with multi-site teams and stake holders to bring clarity and resolve conflicts, Seeks out opportunities to improve own and team performance, make proposals to improve the efficiency/productivity/quality/turn around time of the product, Have a very good the product knowledge and understanding of payment standards, Self-motivation, accountability and commitment are some of the desired attributes

What qualifications will you need to be successful?

• Should hold at least B.E degree (CS, EC, IT, IS) or any post graduation (ME/M.Tech/MCA) 6-10 yrs of experience in software industry
• Experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites using a variety of technologies including Python, Shell Script and other scripting language
• Strong working knowledge of testing fundamentals and Excellent experience in Functional and automated testing
• Should have work experience in task breakdown and estimation
• Should be able to work on customer reported issues and perform log analysis
• Identify the root cause of the problems in the applications and automation framework
• Good understanding of operating systems concepts
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Should have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal social skills
