Inviting applications for the role of Senior Associate, Sourcing Buyer
We are looking for an enthusiastic, Innovative and self-motivated individuals with an appetite for learning and would like to develop your skills as part of a forward-thinking and results-driven team. The successful candidate will work and ensure to help oversee daily operations of a team involved in supporting Strategic Supply Chain strategy to develop new industrial suppliers, evaluate part opportunities, award parts to these suppliers, support & monitor the suppliers in the NPI phase, perform first article evaluations, and monitor the supplier for quality and delivery for ongoing production for an Aviation major as Sourcing Buyer (Senior Associate).
Sourcing Buyer will be responsible to support all aspects of sourcing functions such as monitoring requisitions to ensure placement, Audit, approve/reject, and track open actions of prospective new Industrial suppliers. FAI through put & accuracy collaborate with Planning and Fulfillment teams for their respective parts.
They are expected to be focused, have great attention to detail, be able to prioritize tasks and work as a team towards deadlines and seamless service delivery.

Responsibilities
Process requires the Sourcing buyer to work with Supplier/Planning/Fulfillment across multiple Partner Programs to complete the following tasks:

• Understanding program initiatives, exhibiting time management, analytical thinking. and organization skillsets to prioritize assigned workload accordingly to meet these initiative's deliverables in a timely manner
• Coordinating with Industrial team members through facilitating meetings, project management, problem solving and gaining consensus for meeting Sourcing deliverables
• Issue study RFQs to prospective suppliers to determine commercial competitiveness
• Prepare study quote analysis against other approved suppliers to determine commercial competitiveness
• Ensure supplier agrees to Client standard terms & conditions before the new supplier audit
• Prepare quote analysis & source selection recommendations to review with Industrial team
• Negotiate with suppliers as required
• Issue PAs/POs & coordinate/ensure require industrial remarks are on PA/PO
• Provide commercial feedback to suppliers as required
• Monitor & take action on unplaced requisitions
• Support supplier calls when commercial topics may be discussed (as required)
• Ensure all work follows Aviation Procurement Manual
• Reporting and Dashboard creation
• Actions will be completed with daily use of available tools & IT Systems such as Impact (Sourcing), Advance Planning System (APS), PAB (Projected Available Balance Report) and Critical Material report in addition to others available reports to Sourcing
• Driving Continuous improvements in the process

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications

• Good working experience in a Supply Chain Management domain specific to Procurement and sourcing buyer process
• Graduate with MBA/Engineering or equivalent with a strong academic record
• Working knowledge on MS-Office (Excel & Powerpoint)
• Any SCM certifications would be added advantage
• Effective probing skills and analyzing / understanding skills
• Problem solving skills with customer centric approach Demonstrated proficiency with written English and with neutral English accent
• Strong attention to detail
• Candidate should be comfortable with UK shift timings
• Self-driven and motivated
