Line of Service Tax Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Operations Management Level Senior Associate & Summary A career within Operations, will provide the opportunity to support our engagement teams and clients operationally by providing advice on accounting, financial reporting, and strategic business issues. In joining, you\'ll help ensure a complete and relevant exchange of information among our consultants and in turn with engagement teams and clients, provide experts advice on a variety of specific topics, support engagement teams in resolving complex issues, and supporting clients and their subsidiaries in evaluating the potential impact of accounting and reporting standard setting initiatives. You\'ll develop strong relationships with our engagement teams and enhance our ability to meet greater investor expectations with the challenges of an increasingly complex business environment. As a part of our team, you\'ll help assist engagement teams in the areas of resource management, learning and development, human capital, reporting, technology and innovation, and quality and compliance. Jobdescription Obtaining an understanding of Firm\'s Risk Management, Independence and Contracting policies. Should have working knowledge of firm\'s policies and practices. Responsible for end to endlegalandcontractingsupport to all the SBUs of TRS India. Negotiating, reviewing and drafting terms & conditions of international and domestic agreements with clients and vendors for the supply/ receipt of services, software and technology, including all of the ancillary agreements/ contractdocumentation such as RFPs, license agreements, non-disclosure agreements, release letters, hold harmless letters, assumption of duty of care letters etc. Working as an independent resource. Understand the nuances of different types of client engagements received for risk assessment. Working under tight deadlines and providing timely responses to enable the client service teams tomeetthe deliverable timelines. Perform other ad-hoc tasks in relation to risk and allied areas diligently. Preparing policy/ internal guidelines/SOPs formulation. Ability to advise on compliance with internal policies otherlegal/ regulatory requirements/complex matters. Providinglegalsupport regardingcontractinterpretation and guidance during the execution phase of clientcontracts. Providing advice on company law, anti-bribery, intellectual property related matters etc. Keeping abreast oflegaldevelopments, in particular new regulatory and compliance risks that arise provide practical advice and documentation support to business units in these areas. Provide assistance in improvinglegalprocesses and productivity, through simplification, standardization, modelcontractclauses andcontractingtemplates/ toolkits/playbooks. Providing training to TRS practice. Desired Skills Working knowledge of firm\'s TRS Risk Management, contracting and independence policies and practice. Habituated to read, understand and implement, draft and negotiate contracts. Solution oriented. Independently handling matters. Proactive and robust thought process. Meticulous and committed attitude with an eye for detail. Ability to influence/persuade stakeholders. Flexibility with work timings. Work with various stakeholders (various IFS teams, LoS teams, Global R&Q teams etc.) to ensure deliverables of various functional and x-functional matters/ projects are on track. Self-driven and motivated with good communication skills (written and verbal). Strong desire to learn new things with a questioning mind. Business risk spotting/ analytical ability - the resource must be able to quickly assess the risk areas balancelegaland contractual issues with business risk and recommend ways of mitigating or managing them should be able to use judgment, analyze facts and draw logical conclusions. Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally, interests based negotiations in a fast-paced environment the capability to think clearly and quickly under pressure, and the composure to satisfy multiple and often competing interests communicate effectively with senior management. Developing and monitoring contractual risks and action plans as well as support overall strategies to support deal closure while ensuring that contractual risks are effectively mitigated.
