Job Summary

Within Advisory, PwC has a large team (GovTech) that enables government organisations to transform
and provide better service to citizens and optimize operations. The open position is for a candidate who
desires to work with government clients and bring about a change in society. A successful candidate
will be expected to work pro-actively and effectively on multiple client engagements over the period of
time and take ownership of the entire project delivery he/she entrusted with.
The candidate should strong interpersonal skills, who not only enjoys the challenge of working with
other team members but externally with a diverse, senior-Government officials across varied Ministries
and PSUs. Recent experience and understanding of the Indian business ecosystem and government
initiatives is a must.
The candidate will be required to showcase excellent communication skills and will have demonstrated
consistently the skill and capability in delivering impactful and insightful projects in the past. He/she
will also be required to participate in client meetings and, during the course of a project, will be
responsive to client enquiries, eventually leading the delivery engagement.
Candidate will also be expected to contribute to Practice or Firm development. This may be adjudged in
various ways such as serving as a mentor to other team members, by leading training/development
initiatives, contributing to thought leadership papers, assisting other network firms etc.
Positions are with PwC\xe2\x80\x99s Government Technology (GovTech) practice, which works with Central &
State Governments, PSUs, donor agencies, international government clients etc. The position is based
out of Mumbai | Pune |. However, the ideal candidate should not have any constraints to travel for
work related opportunities, whether domestic or internationally.

Roles & Responsibilities:
\xef\x82\xb7 Developing project Charter
\xef\x82\xb7 Define project scope and deliverables that support business goals
\xef\x82\xb7 Develop project plans and schedule
\xef\x82\xb7 Communicate with stakeholders/customers on an ongoing basis
\xef\x82\xb7 Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and customers
\xef\x82\xb7 Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where

\xef\x82\xb7 Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
\xef\x82\xb7 Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools (Microsoft Project
Management)
\xef\x82\xb7 Track project milestones and deliverables
\xef\x82\xb7 Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and
presentations
\xef\x82\xb7 Issue status reports to the project team, analyse results, and troubleshoot problem areas
\xef\x82\xb7 Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency
plans
\xef\x82\xb7 Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life
cycle.
\xef\x82\xb7 Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project.
\xef\x82\xb7 Conduct project \xe2\x80\x9clessons learned\xe2\x80\x9d meetings and create a recommendations report in order to
identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
\xef\x82\xb7 Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
Educational Qualifications
\xef\x82\xb7 Post-Graduation: MBA (preferable)
\xef\x82\xb7 Engineering (B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech) in IT/Computer Science/ Electronics /
Telecommunication OR MCA
Certifications
Having one or more of the following certifications will be an added advantage:

Work Experience
\xef\x82\xb7 The candidate should possess post-qualification relevant work experience of 3 to 8 years in
Consulting /IT/ITES firm.
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience of working with Indian Government (Central, State, ULBs)/related agencies is
preferred. However, this will not be a mandatory requirement.
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience in Consulting and international projects (Preferred). However, this will not be a
mandatory requirement.
Tools & Techniques
\xef\x82\xb7 Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Power Point and other project management tools.
