The Position

This role will contribute majorly around internal communication initiatives within Obesity area involving HQ functions, regions, affiliates & develop tactical implementation plan in aligned to Obesity global communication strategy.

  • Internal communication to HQ functions, regions and affiliates, e.g. develop newsletters and Yammer posts to maintain consistent communication flow about the obesity space to employees.
  • Develop/Update SharePoint platform for Obesity area. Upload materials, check with team on new materials and how to best present and make available to affiliates.
  • Certification and recertification of promotional material based on already approved core stories (in collaboration with brand team/agency and reviewed & approved by medical, legal, and regulatory).
  • Develop dashboard on key obesity trends in social media, help identify new key online influencers.
  • Work on social media activities, including development of content for various social media activities, including posts, videos, polls and International travel might be required for 5-10 days a year.
Qualification & Experience
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree/Graduation preferably in communication, journalism, public affairs
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree preferably within communication, journalism from a well-recognized institute (Not a prerequisite, however an advantage).
  • 4+ years of overall experience preferably from a role in communication and/or journalism.
  • Experience within healthcare or the pharmaceutical industry is a plus but not a prerequisite.
  • Experience in working within a communication strategy & implementation of communication tactics.
  • Strong team collaboration with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into simple and efficient communications and develop storylines for presentations etc.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships and effectively influence all levels of the business.
  • Technical skills: MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Word is a must.
About the department

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs \xe2\x80\x93 Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 Diabetes and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. In the Diabetes GLP-1 and MNIAD area, we are a passionate team helping millions of people with diabetes achieve better health outcomes through innovative medicines and solutions. We drive and execute projects across a strong portfolio comprising of both launch and life-cycle management brands.
