Hiring CA (3-4 yr Exp) - Senior Associate (Finance and Accounts) for a PE Firm

Job Summary:

Our client is a leading PE firm, looking to hire Qualified Chartered Accountants with 3-4 yrs of exp post qualification for the role of Associate (Finance and Accounts) for its Bangalore office located in Indiranagar. Immediate joiners preferred.

The finance team in Bangalore leads the accounting practice for India, Mauritius, Sri Lanka and Africa entities. The Company is looking to hire a Chartered Accountant, with an experience of 3 to 4 years (preferably in Private Equity) and who is available to join us immediately. The location will be Bangalore.

Roles and Responsibilities of the selected candidate:

Responsible for overall accounting of Funds and the investment manager. The candidate should be conversant with the Accounting Standards, IFRS and/or USGAAP. The candidate will also be responsible for the audit of all entities.

Actively coordinate with administrators of Funds (Offshore and Onshore) for Fund related activities.

Responsible for the preparation/Review of Capital call workings, distribution workings and related investor communication.

Responsible for the preparation/Review of unit capital statements, tax estimates and capital account summaries of Funds\' investors on a quarterly basis.

Provide information to the tax advisor for Annual K-1s for US investors

Work with the marketing team on quarterly investor updates for all Funds and ensure timely delivery of the reports.

Work on Quarterly Valuations of all the portfolio companies and update Fund and Investment IRRs and MOIC regularly.

Assist the company in Fund raising activities.

Ensure timely payment of tax (direct and indirect), timely filing of tax returns (quarterly and annual) of all Funds and the investment manager.

Ensure bi-monthly reimbursement of expenses and quarterly collection of management fees from Funds to the investment manager.

Ensure all regulatory compliances \xe2\x80\x93 SEBI, RBI, Taxation, Audits and Corporate compliances

Prepare monthly cashflow budget Vs actual comparison.

Review and payment of expenses related to the manager and the Funds.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified CA with 3-4 years of experience post qualification.
  • Mandatory past work experience in a PE Firm.
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • The candidate should be a team player, self-starter with hunger to grow.
Work Schedule: Mon - Fri

Compensation: Good compensation will be awarded based on candidate calibre and experience. Rest be assured, the compensation is at par with leading PE Firms.
