Job Description

Overall technical responsibility for project(s) within respective teams including work streams and supporting the tasks assigned.
Be the conduit between leads and other junior developers in India.
Actively participate in implementation phase of a project and raise/consult with lead over the technical designs and solution.
Work alongside the lead to own the tasks and deliver it following all protocols in the implementation phase.
Raise technical issues and any risk identified with the lead and project managers.
Pro-active in discussion with leads on various solutions and improving on own technical knowledge.
Follow the best practice set within the project team to ensure we continue to produce high quality work.
Lead by example by attending and being punctual in all team meetings/scrums.
Ensure all tickets within your project are managed effectively.
Ensure all code reviews take place and audited regularly.
Ensure client communications in tasks/tickets and emails follow the rules of engagement.
Ensure documentation/knowledge base of the project is kept up to date among the team
Attend daily meetings with lead and other team members ensuring all assigned tasks have understood with relevant priority escalate as necessary.
Requirements
5 years of overall development experience with Optimizely and .Net development.
Relevant 3 years of experience in working with Optimizely development
Experience designing CMS content models and configuring an elegant, easy to use content authoring experience.
Strong hand on experience of Components, Templates, Taxonomy, metadata management, Content Publishing and unpublishing, Deployment and Content migration/ planning.
Strong hand on experience of CMS customization, multilingual support, Marketing automation, connectors, Forms, Visitor groups and Personalization.
Exposure working with Optimizely DXP
Awareness about modern DevOps, cloud hosting models, containerization (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes), or serverless functions on Azure, AWS, etc.
Understanding of accessibility, performance, and technical SEO best practices and ability to implement these standards in code.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and sprint-based delivery
Familiarity with Git version control and branching strategies.
Familiarity with modern web design principles and modular component design in conjunction with NPM, Webpack, SASS, grid frameworks, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
Has implemented Quality Processes for projects like Continuous Integration (Bamboo/Jenkins), SonarQube, Code reviews (Manual and Automated), code Formatters, Automation testing etc.
Knowledge of all relevant "core .Net technologies" that are used in most .Net-centric CMS/WCM platforms, including but not limited to XML, XSL, XSLT, XSD, server-side programming models, and other related presentation, middle-tier & persistence frameworks.
Open to learn and work on Sitecore and core .Net projects

Certification for Microsoft technologies
Experience using or integrating Optimizely Content Recommendations, CDP, Web Experimentation or Commerce.
Experience with headless content management system using Optimizely
Knowledge of other Optimizely CMS competitors is useful (e.g. Sitecore, AEM etc)
