Job Description


Join the team as a Senior Associate in Direct Tax. This role will involve working closely with various regions in performing tax compliance and tax accounting functions. You will work on the preparation and analysis of tax returns, taxability of offshore entities, tax provisioning and headquarter reporting. In this role, you will be responsible for preparation of income tax calculations and preparation of corporate tax returns for US entities. You will be also responsible for preparation of various supporting schedules and workpapers required for US tax reporting purpose working on performance of monthly, quarterly, annual tax accounting activities for US entities. You will be responsible for working on the global withholding tax processes, tax related balance sheet reconciliations, and tax registration. To be successful in this role, you will have a qualification in Bachelor or Masters of Commerce or MBA in Finance with 2 experience working in the be financial services industry, and 2 years\' post qualification experience in US taxation and exposure to tax accounting. You will possess a good knowledge of accounting standards with previous exposure to IFRS an advantage. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and tax software such as OneSource, BNA etc would be an advantage. Finance or taxation experience within a shared services environment will also be an advantage but not essential.
