Functional Description:
American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the Global leader in the Commercial Payments Solutions space and subsequently continues to be an exciting and fast-growing segment. Corporate Program Product Development (CPPD) team is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team leading digital innovation at American Express. We are responsible for deepening Client and Card Member engagement through our digital B2B products. The team's mission is to dramatically increase adoption and frequency of usage through a combination of in-depth insights, superior user experience and compelling features and functionality.
The Client Access and Profile Management team (CAPM) within the Corporate Capabilities team designs and delivers digital tools for middle market, large and global scale companies to optimally lead their Corporate Card programs.
Purpose of the role
This candidate will focus on key user journeys that support our Program Administrators
Build and scale products for Program Administrators
Manage product features along with Solutions Managers and technology partners
Support various product stakeholders across GCS
Key Responsibilities
Product development for Global Registration (G-Reg) and Client Access Registration (CA-Reg).
Partner with servicing and back-office teams
Conceptualize, develop and prototype new products/ product/feature improvements
Support new product development through strong partnerships with Solutions Managers
Demonstrate thought leadership and innovative conceptualization
Support various go-to-market activities to scale products
Document end-end onboarding process-flows of program administrator
Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant work experience and a bachelor's degree. This role may be subject to additional background verification checks.
Experience:
Prior experience in digital product development/management and client facing role (preferred)
Prior experience working as Product Owner (preferred)
Technical acumen and fluency - ability to understand technical flows and designs, and to articulate tradeoffs and impact with business partners and engineers
Collaboration across multiple teams in Product management, Marketing, compliance/legal and third parties to drive results and business outcomes
Self-starter, takes initiative, able to handle ambiguity and find logical steps to move forward
Behavioral:
Puts enterprise thinking first, connects the role's agenda to enterprise priorities and balances the needs of customers, partners, colleagues & shareholders
