Review Officer performance and where applicable but not limited to:
Review end of day valuations for all products
Review end of day management reports and resolve issues
Sign off on end of day process and check lists
Extensive knowledge and understanding of OTC Derivative instruments / Exchange Traded Derivatives / Fixed Income Securities / Equity products and life cycle events
Excellent track record of working to deadlines, with accountability and responsibility for independent workload
Ability to work with and have a thorough understanding of responsibilities of other products (Custody, Fund Accounting, Trade Processing)
Strong team player with the ability to set and maintain high standards
Ensure client SLA's are strictly followed.
Working closely with broader operations management teams to develop process efficiencies and drive our technology agenda.
Collaborate with custodians, brokers and other counterparties on an ongoing basis for break resolutions and process improvements.
Experience using, DTCC, MarkitWire preferable. Use of Murex is an advantage.
Clearly communicates both verbally and in written format
Experience in Migrating work across regions e.g. North America to India and serving this time zone in normal day to day operations
Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Proven professional skills – At least 3+ years' experience with sell-side or hedge fund middle and back office. Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to present internally to management. Hedge Fund Middle Office or Administration experience is required incl working knowledge of OTC markets. Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) Ability to document development requirements to create automated processes for Operations Excellent follow-up and problem solving skills. Excellent Communication Skills Project orientated. Must be able to pay extremely close attention to details. Must be a team player. Ability to work and cover North America hours i.e. 6pm to 3am IST escalate in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines detailed in relevant operating procedures.
