JD-SAP BW HANA

SAP HANA Modeler will be responsible for the end-to-end solution that is used to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications which requires working with the business and functional team to design and implement HANA reporting solutions.

1. Hands-on Experience on HANA modelling, graphical calculation view, scripted calculation view and proficiency in HANA SQL.
2. Scripting experience including ability to write complex stored procedures and HANA views using SQL.
3. Apply advanced data modelling techniques, including currency conversion, variables and input parameters. Implement decision automation using business rules.
4. Monitor, investigate and optimize data models and reporting performance on SAP HANA. Advice on modelling approach, best practices and tools to achieve optimum performance.
5. Evaluate the impact of different implementation options such as table joins, Unions, aggregation, and filters. Understand the implication on performance of the various reporting tools and connection types.
6. Experience in data provisioning using smart data access/ smart data Quality (SDI/SDQ).

7. Good expertise in Performance tuning of HANA Models.

8. Authorization options in HANA models.

Good to Have
1. Experience in creating HANA CDS views, security model using Analytic Privileges and SQL Privileges, Input Parameters, Table function, Scalar Function,Administer data models in SAP HANA including setting of information validation rules, managing schemas, the importing/exporting and transporting of data models.
2. Data provisioning into the SAP HANA database using SLT, BODS
3. Working experience on BW on HANA, BW versions 7.4 & 7.5 preferred. Knowledge on ABAP CDS views, embedded analytics, Virtual Data Models using HDI container
