Medline International is looking to hire an experienced QAD Functional resource. This is a position where your responsibilities will include supporting European business users with their daily functions and contribute in reducing legacy customization with standard QAD. This full-time role will be part of Medline's Information Services Department.




Roles and Responsibilities

• Support the European business through implementing and maintaining QAD-related functionality with standard QAD or (if justifiable) through developing customization's
  
• Contribute in reducing the number of intrusive customization's and replace them with QAD standard functionalities
  
• Support business users on day-to-day basis to carry out daily functions, including issue resolution, root cause analysis (RCA)
  
• Adhere to the SLAs defined for Production support
  
• Ensure any changes are well documented

Requirements

Required

• 3-5 years working experience on QAD (and Mfg/Pro)
  
• A broad range of QAD knowledge especially in functional areas like Finance, Supply chain, Sales & Distribution.
  
• Hands-on experience with QAD Enterprise Edition (QAD EE)
  
• Experience with Progress OpenEdge programming
  
• Experience in production support (L1/L2)
  
• Can collaborate and work effectively with the team.
  
• Ability to perform RCA, resolve functional issues, perform QAD setups and configurations.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional skills

• A strong let’s-do-it attitude
  
• Pro-active attitude and proposing improvements where applicable
  
• Hands-on experience with QAD tools like Excelerator, QRF or EDI would be good value-add.
  
• Likes working independently on multiple assignments simultaneously
  
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
  
• Experience with Scrum or Agile way of working.
