Role Overview and Purpose The Royalties Senior Associate role supports the Sr. Royalties Product Manager to focus on solving organizational problems by analyzing processes, workflows, and systems with the objective of identifying opportunities for either improvement or automation. The Rights & Royalties teams have recently undergone significant transformation in both core systems, as well as the location and scale of the operational support teams. The group’s main objective continues to be the production of financially accurate and timely royalty statements. The Royalties Senior Associate will need to hit the ground running, in a fast paced & complex environment, to help ensure that existing hyper care support deliverables & milestones are achieved for the department. This will include performing quality reviews of expected functionality as the improvements flow through the standard development cycle within Global Rights & Royalties. The Royalties Senior Associate will need to understand the functional requirements, develop Business test scripts, and administer a series of tests and evaluations that identify potential issues prior to general release. This role will require a keen attention to detail, as well as logical and critical thinking skills. It will be essential for this individual to have strong planning & organizational skills, and a background in accounting or royalties is a plus. The role will be responsible for:

• Understanding Royalties sales data, Royalty Calculations & Royalty Product.
• Analysing complex data using software such as Excel or other such tool.
• Utilise data to analysis trends and identify enhancement opportunities to process, data quality and systems.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
• Working as part of a cross functional team made up of around 60-65 colleagues
• The role will report within the Global Rights & Royalties Program Management Office and be based in Noida

• Initial sharp learning curve to gain a comfort level with Rights & Royalties jargon, procedures & complexities.

• Reviewing requirements, raising queries, interacting with Teams to understand the business process

Working Pattern / Hours

• May be needed to work UK or US hours, for better overlap with Development teams & Sr. Royalties Product Manager.

Skills/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, business management, or economics
• 2+ years of experience as an analyst or similar roles
• Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, Smartsheet etc.
• Ability to work in a team
• Adept at queries, drafting reports, and making presentations
• Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Oracle, VBA, R is desirable
• Ability to both see the big picture, and pay attention to detail
• Strong Problem-solving skills
• Proactive Thinking approach
