About this role: Senior Analytics Consultant to support various reporting projects associated with Wells Fargo\'s Strategic Finance reporting activities inFinance LOB. You have to work closely with multiple business partners across LOBs, and mentor and train junior BI professionals to deliver projects. The professional is expected to be hands-on on critical projects and get involved in design and end-state discussions, as well as handle the data extraction and prototyping work directly. In this role, you will: Should be skilled in data visualization and analysis, to develop cutting-edge BI solutions and tools for US based partners in Consumer Banking and Marketing Gathering inputs/report requirements from onshore analytics partners and business users Determining the intended user base, platform for deploying the reports and schedule of the reports delivery Designing and administering security model for reports and drill thru data access Defining consistent KPIs across dashboards Identifying relevant and accurate data sources Responsible for translating the user requirements into Functional report requirements. Responsible for the design of the dashboards and walk thru with onshore analytics team and the business users. Determining the Components (charts, tables, tiles, etc.) required to represent specific data/KPIs, changes required, Generation of back-end data, Functions performed after each user click and Level of drilldown available and impact on other components Designing the Filters and Navigations within dashboard, Tabs/pa Responsible for the developing the report mock up and prototype dashboards. Designing the Dashboard layout Choosing the appropriate visualization Placing the components, filters, etc. Following the color palettes defined in the Wells Fargo Standards Designing the Required animations Required Qualifications, International: 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Unique Knowledge / Skill requirement Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in developing Complex BI Dashboards and Reports for a Corporate and/or Investment Bank Demonstrated ability to write complex SQL Queries, yet efficient queries. Hands-on experience in SQL Server, SSRS , and guided analytics BI tools (Tableau, Power BI and Qlik view strongly preferred) Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable data modeling and visualizations Demonstrated ability to build mock ups and prototypes based on the requirements Ability collaborate with business, onshore analytics, and technology teams on report requirements, development, and database management in compliance with embedded IT policies Strong understanding of BI tool and reporting concepts (including back-end and in-tool data modeling, front-end development, and necessary documentation) Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and communication Ability to manage multiple complex exercises in various stages simultaneously Ability to manage internal customer expectations while adhering to internal SLA timeframes Ability to integrate multiple viewpoints and synthe key messages Demonstrate ability to write complex workflows in Alteryx Desired Qualifications: Relationship Management Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and demonstrate strong presentation skills Engage with cross culture team members and stake holders Engagement and work with multiple senior management stakeholders Required Technical Skills: Languages: T-SQL, PL/SQL BI Tools: SSRS, Tableau, Qlick View, Power BI, Alteryx ETL Tools: Tableau Prep, Alteryx, SSIS Applications: MS Office (Access, Excel, Word), Sharepoint Database tools: Teradata, SQL Server Management Studio, Business Intelligence Development Studio, Oracle OS: MS Windows Job Expectations: Should be skilled in data visualization and analysis, to develop cutting-edge BI solutions and tools for US based partners in Consumer Banking and Marketing Gathering inputs/report requirements from onshore analytics partners and business users Determining the intended user base, platform for deploying the reports and schedule of the reports delivery Designing and administering security model for reports and drill thru data access Defining consistent KPIs across dashboards Identifying relevant and accurate data sources Responsible for translating the user requirements into Functional report requirements.
