TM1 Developer

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of the central TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics (PA) platform, which covers the main analysis, reporting and planning solutions of the finance and controlling area.
• Further development of the databases by adding further requirements, changes, master data, processes, rules, etc. including extensive testing.
• Technical input to improve TI processes and architecture as well as the application landscape.
• Proactive introduction of ideas for continuous system and process improvement.

Who you are:

• You have completed an IT-oriented course of study (university) in the field of (business) computer science or a similar field of study
• Profound business background in finance and controlling and cross-cultural skills - proven in an environment with European and/or US companies.

• 4 to 8 years of work experience in multi-national companies as TM1 developer

• Script programming with TM1 TurboIntegrator (TI) and TM1 rules

• Practical experience with PAW/PAX, esp. in the area of visualization

• Knowledge in SAP BW and HANA (esp. calculation views) and experience in creating queries with SQL
• Extensive experience on detailed testing, test scripts and UATs in complex system environments
• You already have some experience in agile project environments (e.g. Scrum) and you have good analytical and conceptual skills
• You work self-organized in a structured, solution-oriented and proactive way and you are used to keep deadlines
• You are a team player with excellent communication skills in English, German would be a plus
• You will be well versed with TM1 REST API capability.
• Familiarity with Complex Security Concepts.
• Experience in at least 3 projects with complete software development lifecycle.
• Experience in implementing at least 2 end to end IBM PA / TM1 projects
• Ability to build, guide, coach team members.
• Active Forms and Complex Websheets
• Understanding and ability to implement basic financial reporting principles such as P&L, Balance Sheet (Statement Of Financial Positions), General Ledger etc.

Understanding of basic financial processes such as Forecasting and Planning, Consolidation, Currency Conversion, etc.
