Overview

To maintain and optimize SITA\xe2\x80\x99s global approach to spare parts management utilizing best practices that deliver specified levels of service to SITA Airport and Airline customers.
Manage the distribution/repositioning of spares parts to minimise costs and ensure compliance with our Service Level Agreements.
To work with SITA\xe2\x80\x99s Recycling vendors to process requests from the business to recycle IT equipment in line with SITA\xe2\x80\x99s CSR Policy.

What you will do

  • You would be responsible to manage the delivery of spares for new projects.
  • Analyse and assess the spares currently held to identify surplus and obsolete spares and arrange redistribution or recycling as appropriate and in line with SITA policies.
  • Monitor spares holding and movements at SITA Service Centres and Third Party providers to ensure spares are accounted for and accurately recorded in Service Gateway through audits and reconciliations.
  • Monitor the repair cycle to ensure that faulty units are repaired and returned to stock in a timely manner and that warranties are being fully utilized.
  • Manage the replacement for any spares that are beyond economical repair.
  • Work on ad-hoc projects as required to expand existing processes or implement new processes.
  • Request quotes from Recycling vendors for requests that come in from the business.
  • Once approval is obtained, get a requisition raised and then work with the Recycling vendor to get the collection arranged.
  • Make sure all reports are received from the recycling vendors within SLA and then processed to ensure that asset data in Service Gateway is kept accurate.
Qualifications

Who you are
  • Experienced in spares management or a similar function
  • Experienced in recycling or a similar function
  • Ideally experience in Telecommunications or Services industry.
  • Service Management Processes- Knowledge of ITIL and Service Management practices and procedures.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office products particularly excel.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience- ITIL Foundation Certificate
