Senior Analyst-Market Intelligence - Government & Public Services (GPS) Marketing Description Looking for a Market Intelligence professional exhibiting a flair for marketing, with knowledge of secondary research tools and databases, and demonstrated experience in market research and analysis. An individual who can act as an information liaison for Strategic Marketers and leaders by thoroughly investigating the landscape, enabling leaders to stay abreast of emerging trends and strategize and devise GPS marketing campaigns. What You'll Do As a Senior Analyst in the GPS marketing team, you will provide market intelligence support to the marketing team, with the primary goal of keeping the team up to date about latest market trends and providing them with actionable insights.
Key job responsibilities include:
Analyse the market data to uncover insights that can drive actions and measurable outcomes
Develop dashboards/reports to meet the business intelligence needs of brand and marketing professionals
Provide competitive research, analytical and reporting support for GPS industry and accounts, marketing campaigns, test and measurement design and post-campaign analysis
Identify and drive data issues to resolution
Maintain project trackers (tasks, ownership, deliverables, and next steps)
Compile, integrate, and analyze data from primarily digital sources and databases to identify trends, expose new data capture opportunities, and answer ongoing business questions
Work with strategic marketers and stakeholders to understand business objectives and define key performance indicators and relevant benchmarks to evaluate performance
The Team The Government and Public Services (GPS) team provides solutions in support of market positioning and acquisition activities to maximize Deloitte’s revenue, relationships, and reputation in the Government marketplace. Strategic Marketers (SMs) are key marketing professionals in the Marketing and Communications team at Deloitte who convert business needs into powerful marketing strategies and impactful campaigns. The India team provides efficient, flexible, quality support to SMs through innovative solutions that facilitate strategic decision making and works in collaboration with the US stakeholders in campaigns/activations, competitive intelligence support. Also, the team works closely with the US GPS channels under Client and Sales Excellence including Marketing and Communications, Information Management, Account Management, Competitive & Market Intelligence, Pursuits, and Strategy. Skills & Competencies
MBA or any other postgraduate degree
3-6 years of market intelligence experience in a professional services firm
Working knowledge of market research databases such as Factiva, Hoovers, OneSource, etc.
Sound understanding of market research tools and techniques such as social listening, competitor profiling, industry landscaping, keyword research, etc.
Strong grasp of the fundamentals of marketing and communications, along with the ability to provide robust insights and recommendations pertaining to integrated approaches to drive business goals
Ability to synthesize information into a logical narrative, presenting actionable insights and deliver recommendations to stakeholders in alignment to the business strategy
Demonstrate the ability to articulate and present key actionable market and competitor insights to the stakeholders in a visually representative format
Ability to work in a matrixed organization and prioritize projects
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
Ability to build rapport with clients and persuasive skills to promote and defend the design concept for the problem
Basic understanding of user experience principles, to recommend and develop clear and logical flow in a dashboard/report
