About the Role

Position Title: Analyst, GFCD Quality Assurance Support Analyst

Reporting to: Head of MGS GFCD QA

Job Profile

Purpose of Role

This individual will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining quality assurance (QA) tools and documents. Customizing and maintaining the Global Financial Crimes Division (GFCD) QA tools and documents based on the approved Global Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) QA Methodology for use by the QA functions covering the financial crimes control processes. This includes customizing and maintaining the tools to keep it up to date with new or refreshed Global Standards and procedures.

Main Responsibilities

• Customize the QA tools based on the latest QA requirements for branches across regions
• Maintain and ensure uplifts are undertaken based on updates for the branches
• Liaising with various departments and internal stakeholders to create collaborative work relationships understand their requirements in terms of changes required, propose the solutions, advocate the team values, obtain their supports when required, etc.
• Implement and deploy the QA tools and OM in accordance with the MUFG policy and procedures governance process
• Create data visualizations and reports for other stakeholders to comprehend business facts and trends to make better decisions.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.

Candidate Profile

Skills and knowledge

• Candidates with good understanding of Financial Crime and system data automation are preferred
• Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software, with advanced skills in Word, Excel, Excel macros and Access
• Good writing skill and fluent in English
• Attention to detail
• Demonstrated experience in establishing strong credibility to build influential relationships stakeholders to identify gaps and improvements within our data management process
• Excellent communication, with the ability to communicate with people of all levels and cross-borders
• Client focused and able to deliver on complex tasks

Education & professional qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or above

Experience

• Overall experience of 4-8 years
• 2-3 years of post-qualification relevant work experience within Banking and Financial Services industry.
• 2-3 years of experience in data management
• Experience in Financial Crime
• Global project and change management experience in Banking or Risk or Compliance domain are preferred.
