• Global Operations Finance and Transformation group within Eaton is responsible for leading financial planning and analysis and operations finance. In addition, this organization leads the development of financial technology enhancements that enable the finance organization to generate better value for our business. Following are the critical workstreams for Global Finance:
• Financial Planning and Analysis including corporate and sector financial planning.
• Finance Technology including the development of enhanced architecture and solutions to drive value through the finance function.
• Operations Finance including Supply Chain, IT, Digital Office, Engineering, and Technology finance activities.
• Work as a Finance Liasion /Business Partner with several APAC Budget Managers belonging to various Value Chains and assist them in day-to-day financial operations/ matters.
• Operations - Will play an active role in the day-to-day finance operations and will drive process improvements.
• Monthly Close process - Review and monitor expenses & allocations, trend analysis, monthly accruals, cross charges, etc and meet the set timelines.
• Billing and invoicing - Will manage monthly billing and will play an active role in process improvement related to billing. Helps customers with billing/allocation-related queries and forecasting. Coordinating with various APAC Country Finance controllers and BRMs for allocations.
• Monthly Rolling Forecast - Will work closely with the APAC IT budget managers for monthly rolling forecasts.
• Profit Planning - Will work closely with the APAC IT budget managers for the annual profit plan process and meet the deadlines.
• Reporting - Will compare actuals vis a vis rolling forecast/ profit plan and provide the reasoning behind the variances on a timely basis.
• Automation/Digital transformation mindset - Will look out for automation opportunities within IT Finance. Knowledge of Power platforms will be an added advantage.
• Statutory reporting - Will be aware of the statutory framework specific to SEZ & services business in India and help EITC(Eaton's Information Technology Center) stay compliant.
• Audit - Will help in managing the internal and statutory audit for EITC.
• Documentation - Will actively take part in the process documentation to ensure process sustainability.
• Maintain the integrity of the financial results to present a true and fair view.
• Manages and monitors the progress of key initiatives.
• Technical adviser & proficient in accounting and reporting as per US GAAP and Indian GAAP(essential) requirements.
• Train the new members of the team

Qualifications

Requirement:

• Qualified CA \ CMA \CFA
• Hands-on experience with MS Office products, and Oracle Financials.
• Knowledge of the Oracle PBCS tool will be an added advantage.
