Overview: The Customer Insight & Analytics team at LSEG develops data-driven solutions that generate actionable insight to support organization-wide business objectives such as driving revenue growth and customer retention. The Senior Analyst role is a key position within this function that is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of analytic solutions across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will be responsible for exploring multifaceted datasets, building descriptive and prescriptive frameworks, and communicating insight via data visualization. In addition to possessing the technical skill set, the ideal candidate will also be experienced in building cross-functional relationships and communicating technical language to non-technical audiences. Responsibilities: Learn and understand LSEG\'s strategy across all business divisions - our customers, products, competition, market position and the key challenges facing the organisation Partner with cross-functional (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Strategy, Customer Service, Operations, Businesses) stakeholders to understand business objectives and challenges for which to develop analytics and actionable insight. Assist stakeholders to understand and execute on the insight and support growth / retention goals Blend business knowledge and technical knowhow to develop hypotheses that build the foundation of analytic solutions. Solutions may involve performing descriptive analyses or building predictive frameworks Develop and maintain databases & visualization solutions that allow stakeholders to consume insight Complex big data extractions and mining involving Data optimization, Report automation & Anomaly Detection Exploratory Data profiling & Operationalization of Data driven strategies Essential skills: Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to solve problems and provide actionable insights to support the business Hands-on experience in SQL programming is preferred Experience of visualisation platforms such as Tableau and/or Power BI Minimum of 3 years\' experience in analytics, consulting, or another quantitative role Business acumen and understanding of how analytics and insights support a large organisation Strong oral and written communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex technical concepts to stakeholders across the business Desired Skills and Experience: Experience with Snowflake and/or Microsoft SQL server is preferred Experience with ETL tools such as Alteryx is desirable Education: Bachelor\'s degree required At LSEG, we believe that creating a diverse and inclusive organisation is fundamental to the way we deliver on our promise of creating essential partnerships and open opportunities.
