Maintain day-to-day books of accounts (Tally/ERP).
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.
Ensure accurate and timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
2. Taxation & Compliance
Prepare and file GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements under Companies Act, GST, and other applicable pharma laws.
Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and government authorities.
3. Inventory & Costing
Monitor inventory valuation and costing, especially for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished Ayurvedic products.
Coordinate with the production and stores team for stock reconciliation.
Prepare product costing sheets and assist in pricing strategy.
4. Financial Analysis & Reporting
Prepare MIS reports for management decision-making.
Analyze sales, expenses, and profit margins.
Provide financial insights to support business growth strategies.
5. Vendor & Customer Management
Handle vendor payments, credit control, and customer outstanding follow-ups.
Coordinate with procurement and sales teams for smooth financial operations.
6. Team & Process Management
Supervise junior accountants and guide them in daily activities.
Implement and improve internal control systems.
Support management in budgeting and forecasting.
