Manage and supervise daily accounting operations including journal entries, ledgers, receivables, payables, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
Review trial balances, balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow reports for accuracy.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
2. Taxation (GST, TDS & Other Statutory Requirements)
Ensure timely and accurate
GST computation, return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.), reconciliations, and compliance
.
Handle
TDS deductions, deposits, return filing (24Q, 26Q), and preparation of Form 16/16A
.
Monitor statutory compliance including
PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other applicable laws
.
Coordinate with auditors and consultants on tax matters and statutory assessments.
3. Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with
Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST Act, and other relevant regulations
.
Assist in internal, statutory, and tax audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.
Implement internal controls and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
4. Accounts Payable & Receivable
Oversee vendor payments, invoice verification, and reconciliation.
Manage customer billing, collections, and outstanding follow-ups.
Ensure accurate accounting of expenses, provisions, and accruals.
5. General Administration & Support
Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Support management with financial analysis and MIS reporting.
Provide guidance to junior accounting staff and help streamline processes.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
Minimum 4-7 years of experience in accounting and taxation.
Strong knowledge of
