About the team

This role is a part of our Patching & SVM Team.

What you will be doing

• Run 24x7 operations for Clients infrastructure support
• Troubleshoot, Maintain & Vulnerability remediation of Windows Operating System and Unix OS types
• Troubleshooting problems with the help of Event/Task Logs.
• Awareness in SVM (Security Vulnerability Management) team for vulnerability fixes for Windows Platforms, ILO\'s VMware environments Unix OS.
• Expertise in Windows/Unix Patching and troubleshooting in OS level.
• Perform vulnerability testing, risk analysis and security assessments
• OS hardening and monitoring.
• Managing the OS Patching of Unix systems to provide elevated level of security to the clients

What you bring

• Hands on support knowledge on all Server Hardware and console operations major in HP and Dell.
• Knowledge on VMware Infrastructure Client, vSphere 5, Web Client and Virtualization - vSphere 5.x, 4.x
• Experience with Microsoft OS 2016/2012/2008 & 2003 and AIX/VIOS/Linux/Solaris
• Unix OS related certified admins (IBM/RedHat/SASC)
• Hands on experience with ticketing tools and exposure on Incident and Service management
• Certified in Microsoft and Virtualization
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Should have good skills in MS Office
• Knowledge in administrating and managing VMware infrastructure via Virtual Infrastructure Client
• Scripting knowledge in PowerShell
• Experience on Security Vulnerability Patch Management tools like SCCM or any other tools

• Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization
• Knowledge of financial services industry
• Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios
