Job Description

Key Responsibilities of a Security Supervisor:

Personnel Management:

Supervising and training security officers and staff, ensuring proper staffing levels, and managing performance.

Security Operations:

Overseeing access control, surveillance systems, and emergency response procedures.

Policy and Procedure Implementation:

Ensuring compliance with company security policies and procedures, and implementing new or revised protocols.

Incident Response:

Investigating and responding to security incidents, accidents, and disturbances.

Risk Assessment and Prevention:

Identifying potential security risks, conducting risk assessments, and implementing preventative measures.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintaining detailed records of security incidents, activities, and observations, and reporting to appropriate authorities.

Collaboration and Communication:

Coordinating with other departments, law enforcement, and emergency services as needed.

Leadership and Motivation:

Fostering a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and safety within the security team.
