Job Summary

The Security Supervisor is responsible for supervising security operations, ensuring safety of guests, staff, and hotel property, and maintaining discipline among the security team in compliance with hotel policies and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Security Operations

Supervise daily security activities and duty rosters Monitor entry and exit of guests, staff, and vehicles Conduct regular patrols of hotel premises

Team Management

Supervise, guide, and train security guards Ensure guards are properly groomed and disciplined Report absenteeism and performance issues

Safety & Emergency Management

Handle emergency situations such as fire, theft, accidents, or medical emergencies Coordinate with local police, fire department, and authorities Ensure fire safety equipment and CCTV systems are functional

Reporting & Compliance

Maintain incident reports, logbooks, and security records Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs and Kerala local safety regulations Visitor passes, and vendor movements

Guest & Staff Safety

Assist guests courteously while maintaining security standards Manage crowd control during events, weddings, and festivals

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 0-1 years of experience in hotel or institutional security Previous experience as Security guard preferred Basic knowledge of fire safety and emergency procedures Ability to communicate in English, Hindi and Malayalam preferred
