Summary
We are seeking a Pune, India based Security Reference Management Security Business Analyst to join our Security Reference Management Team in Global Technology & Operations.
Team/Group Description
Security Reference Management (SRM) provides financial security data on Fixed Income, Equities and Derivatives to internal Departments for the management of clients and fund investment activities. The security reference data is maintained within our security master system by the SRM team and then feeds downstream to our internal systems for trading, investment, risk, compliance, accounting, and reporting used by our internal departments. The team is responsible to ensure security reference data is accurate, timely and complete to meet the needs of our business activities.
Role Description
The Security Reference Management Senior Analyst is a key role for our firm providing reference data in Fixed Income, Equity, and Derivatives that supports the investment activities. The Senior Business Analyst will assist with the improving the data maintenance process, vendor data mappings, as well as building out a more robust SRM infrastructure. The Business Analyst will collaborate with various teams across the firm to understand business needs and identify how technology can meet those needs through the design and implementation of efficient processes and tools. This individual would liaison with Business Sponsors and Stakeholders to understand the business problem that needs to be solved and the intended outcome. The SRM BA will strategize on the approach, collaborate on requirement definitions and partner with the Development Team to architect and implement a solution. This role is a dynamic role which would require the candidate to play the role of project manager based on the project complexity.
Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Research, input, and validate security indicative data on our Security Master System triggered from our automated security exceptions or questions/challenges received from our internal clients.
Maintain multiple workflows, such as security exceptions within our Security Master system (CADIS), DART requests (Direct Access Request Tracking application), E-Mail Requests.
Support various internal accounting systems such as Portfolio Management System, CAMRA, and Enterprise Portfolio Accounting in areas such as verifying and reconciling accrual differences.
Working with internal departments including portfolio management, trading, reporting, performance, research, legal/compliance, etc. to evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncovering areas for improvement and developing and implementing solutions
Identify work and data flow efficiency for opportunities in improvement.
Assist and/or lead a project supporting technological enhancement, production fixes, data cleanup, and security automation.
Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
Performing requirements analysis.
Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members an management.

Qualifications, Experience, Education
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in finance, economics, or accounting
Four or more years of work experience in business analysis
At least two years of experience in fixed Income and equity securities
Previous experience using third-party reference data providers, such as: Bloomberg, Direct
Books, Wall Street Office, IPREO, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), and Refinitiv
Has assisted and/or delivered small to medium size projects
Preferred experience in reference data management
Preferred experience using Jira and Confluence
