Job Description

The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and premises. The role involves monitoring activities, controlling access, preventing unauthorized entry, and responding to emergencies in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and illegal activities Control entry and exit of staff, visitors, and vehicles Check ID cards, visitor registers, and issue passes when required Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with security rules Operate security equipment such as CCTV, metal detectors, and alarms Respond promptly to emergencies, fire alarms, or security incidents Report suspicious activities or incidents to supervisors and management Maintain daily security logs and incident reports Assist during evacuations, emergencies, or crowd control situations Coordinate with local police or emergency services when required
