Job Description

Responsibilities: Main Purpose of the Role:
This role will perform development for PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA) IT team, supporting the Data Warehouse, and Masterfile’s/Security applications. The role is responsible for development and testing solutions supporting the current jobs, ensuring SLAs are met. Role will be part of the support team, to provide daily support of the PBNA EDW jobs. Role will also develop data movement and data summarization jobs for PBNA Data Warehouse.
As part of the testing role, develop test plans, cases, scripts, and reports on multiple features, user stories, or projects.
Perform testing on various software, database and reporting systems.
Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process.
Review user requirements documents to ensure that requirements are testable.

Accountabilities:

• Develop based on solution prescribed by Product Owner and Project Manager
• Build test plans from technical specifications, features &user stories.
• Safe agile development team member, responsible for data solutions (data warehouse) and legacy master files &security system enhancements
• Conduct impact survey and workshops to assess impacted downstream systems
• Perform comprehensive system integration testing to assure quality and stability within downstream systems
• Conducting troubleshooting on downstream systems to ensure there is quality assurance and stability.
• Create technical documentation for developed products

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in programming and development projects.
• 2+ years experience in database programming.
• Mandatory 'Technical' Skills:
• Working knowledge of client server architecture, java, webservices, Apache, WebLogic technologies
• Experience in working with database systems - Teradata, Sybase, Oracle
• Experience in working with SQL programming, Stored procedures and JDBC
• Knowledge of Azure ADF / Synapse
• Experience in working with integration architecture, and integration tools, specifically Informatica Power Center
