Responsibilities

Position Overview
Primary focus would be to build Data solutions for key projects. This would include work on Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) using the below technologies and ensuring on time and on budget development/delivery. Satisfying project requirements while adhering to enterprise architecture standards. Role will drive key data and digital projects and drive innovation related activities
1.Big Data (Hadoop, HBase, MapReduce, Hive, HDFS etc.), Spark/PySpark
2. Sound skills and hands on experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Storage Explorer
3. Proficient in creating Data Factory pipelines for on-cloud ETL processing; copy activity, custom Azure development etc.
4. Knowledge of Azure Data Catalog, Event Grid, Service Bus, SQL, and Synapse
5. Knowledge on language such as Python, Scala
Checklist of Experience Required for this Position:
We'll be upfront with you: We will only consider candidates with the following experience. For a candidate to be considered for this role, she or he will absolutely need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Management, or related field
• 7 + years’ experience in Information Technology
• Good written and verbal communication skills along with collaboration and listening skills
• Experience dealing with multiple vendors as necessary
• Technology skill should include:
• Big Data (Hadoop, HBase, MapReduce, Hive, HDFS etc.), Spark/PySparkSound skills and hands on experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks
• Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Storage Explorer Proficient in creating Data Factory pipelines for on-cloud ETL processing; copy activity, custom Azure development etc.
• Knowledge on language such as Python, Scala
• Solutions Delivery experience - system development lifecycle, integration, and sustainability
• Data modelling or database experience; experience with ER/Studio and/or Erwin modelling tools
• Experience in Data, BI or Analytics projects
• Excellent remote collaboration skills
• Experience working in a matrix organization with diverse priorities

• Strong communication skills to meet with delivery teams and business-facing teams, understand sometimes ambiguous, needs, and translate to clear, aligned requirements

• Drive solution design and build to ensure scalability, performance, and reuse
• Ensure on time and on budget delivery which satisfies project requirements, while adhering to enterprise architecture standards.
• Facilitate work intake, prioritization and release timing, balancing demand, and available resources. Ensure tactical initiatives are aligned with the strategic vision and business needs
