Role

As the Section Head - Indirect Procurement (IT Buyer Head) you will be part of the Procurement and will report to the DH-Indirect Procurement
The purpose of your role will be into responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring software solutions and licenses to meet the technology needs of our organization.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
\xe2\x97\x8f Conduct market research and analysis to identify software & cloud solutions that align with the organization\'s IT requirements and strategic objectives.
\xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT teams and business units, to understand software needs, gather requirements, and define procurement strategies.
\xe2\x97\x8f Source potential software vendors, manage the request for proposal (RFP) process, and evaluate vendor proposals based on factors such as functionality, pricing, support, and contractual terms.
\xe2\x97\x8f Negotiate favorable licensing agreements, pricing, and contract terms with software vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
\xe2\x97\x8f Manage vendor relationships, including contract management, performance evaluations,
\xe2\x97\x8f Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to review and finalize software contracts, ensuring appropriate rights, obligations, and data protection measures are included.
\xe2\x97\x8f Monitor and track software license agreements, renewal dates, and compliance with licensing terms and usage rights. Implement processes to optimize license utilization and reduce costs.

Coordination with multiple plant locations & departments
New technology & supplier addition being done rapidly in new plants, so overall supplier base and variety of items are being increased, Arrangement of obsolete parts.

Academic Qualification & Experience

• B-tech
• 14+ years In Manufacturing/Auto industry

\xe2\x97\x8f Subject matter expert in indirect materials management

(ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), Dealer management solution
(DMS),productivity tools, and infrastructure software.
