The IT Quality Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. At Citi\'s TTS Global Payments LOB, we are looking for a strong SDET/test automation lead. This person will lead a large team of skilled SDET/automation engineers, who will build automated solutions to validate a highly complex and mission critical global payments platform. We need someone with strong expertise in Selenium/Java/Cucumber/BDD framework with good knowledge in Core Java and Springboot. This role will be an even mix of hands on engineering work and team leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for project\'s test automation framework and ensuring best practices are followed in implementing the framework
• Leading a team of 10-12 automation engineers and ensuring daily task allocations, sprint planning and alignment to short and long term objectives
• Responsible to meet org targets on automation, like regression and functional (in-sprint) automation
• Understand test coverage needs and QA challenges and proactively identify engineering solutions to address them
• Implement best practices like CI/CD automation, containerization, grid parallel execution and others
• Develop utilities/solutions to help validate large volumes of test data, feed compares, production parallel tests, etc
• Develop and implement training plan to cross-skill functional testers in automation and to upskill junior automation engineers
• Recruit and build the team
• Acts as advisor and mentor for junior members of the team
• Help bridge the gap between functional and automation team members

Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience in an IT Quality role, with atleast 6+ years in test automation/SDET activities
• Good experience in banking/payments domain and also preferred to have worked on GPP or GPPSP product
• In depth knowledge & experience of automation frameworks of UI (Selenium) and API (Soap UI, Postman , Rest Assured) using Core Java
• Very good programming skills (Core Java using Java 8)
• Good experience in BDD Agile methodology along with Cucumber based projects
• Good testing framework knowledge like Junit, TestNG
• Have end to end automation experience from Maven, Git, any CI tool(Jenkins, Gitlab, Teamcity)
• Good experience working in Agile environment
• Have good knowledge and hands on experience in creating Jobs and pipelines
• Experience working with Jira and Zephyr

Education:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s/University degree or equivalent experience
