Job Summary:As a Sculptor, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and crafting sculptures that convey artistic and aesthetic concepts. You will work with a variety of materials and techniques to bring your artistic vision to life. Your work may be displayed in galleries, public spaces, private collections, or commissioned for specific projects. Key Responsibilities: Conceptualization: Generate creative ideas and concepts for sculptures, taking into consideration the intended message, theme, and artistic vision. Design: Develop detailed plans, sketches, or models of your sculptures to visualize the final piece and gain client or supervisor approval. Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials for the project, considering factors such as the intended location, durability, and artistic expression. Sculpting: Use various tools and techniques to shape and carve the selected materials, bringing the sculpture to life. This may involve hand-building, modeling, carving, or casting. Safety: Adhere to safety practices, especially when working with potentially hazardous materials or tools. Ensure that safety precautions are followed in the studio.
