Prepare, review, and file all required export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading (HBL/MBL), and the mandatory Sea Departure Manifest (SDM).
SCMTR Compliance:
Ensure strict compliance with SCMTR timelines and data requirements, including providing precise cargo details such as HSN codes, invoice values, and IEC/PAN details of the shipper/consignor to customs before the vessel departs the Indian port.
Electronic Filing:
Manage the electronic submission of the Cargo Summary Notification (CSN) and the Departure Manifest through the ICEGATE portal or integrated logistics software.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise effectively with internal sales, customer service, and operations teams, as well as external parties including freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and statutory authorities.
Shipment Monitoring:
Track and monitor the status of all export shipments, proactively identifying and resolving potential delays or issues related to customs clearance or transit.
Record Keeping & Auditing:
Maintain accurate and organised records of all export transactions and documentation to facilitate internal and external audits.
Regulatory Updates:
Stay informed of changes in international trade legislation and SCMTR guidelines, implementing necessary adjustments to processes and advising management on potential impacts.
Customer Service:
Address customer inquiries regarding shipment status, documentation requirements, and regulatory compliance, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
