: Scientific Officer Horticulture -To develop Advisory for Horticulture crops i.e Spices, Vegetables, Fruits,Plantations, Indoor and Commercial crops with advanced molecules for stress management and for quality production. -To develop biological markers for the crops of Crop Data interest and tools to measure the different quality parameters. -To add knowledge of domestic and international horticulture crops market and trading business. -To add post harvest processing techniques and tools to manage the business process. -To train and manage the subject specific staff and support the management team to find solutions to various problems associated with crop management & soil management procedures. -Working with operations team to establish procedures, standards and systems SOP for Regional lab functions. -Take an active interest in all the activities relating to the department. -Meet all compliance and reporting requirements. -Adhere to Crop Data Technology Private Limited policies and procedures including HR policies, quality maintenance policies, IPR policies, etc. -Executing any other work as and when arises in the interest of the company as well as for the benefit of the farming community. Candidate Profile: -Dynamic person with excellent communication and relationship building skills. -Remain up to date on recent trends in horticulture and post harvest technology. -Proficiency in MS Office Suite for analyzing and interpreting data gathered from various resources and regional locations. -Innovative ideas for complex solutions. -Master s degree in relevant discipline Skills - Horticulture crops production & management, Quality analysis, Lab development, Strategic alliances, Communication flow, Horticulture Commodities Procurement. Knowledge of mobile application and using technology in agriculture and horticulture.
