An SCCM administrator will be expected to maintain the SCCM and ensure its ongoing health and viability for the underlying systems, as well as keeping a close eye on all of those systems.
The SCCM administrator will need to carry out updates and similar as and when required, utilising patches and new builds where necessary to keep security and usability at its very best level. That could include assisting in third party patching too, so knowledge of other systems besides SCCM is essential.
