Every second, using advanced machine learning models, HPE InfoSight analyzes and correlates millions of sensors from all of our globally deployed systems and some 3rd party softwares, continuously learning and making every system smarter and more reliable. It is cloud based and predicts and prevents problems before an administrator has any awareness of it. HPE InfoSight has changed not only Infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting but also transformed customer and Technical Support interactions to a seldom encountered and a very positive experience. We\'re looking for someone to join the InfoSight team, who is passionate about the latest techniques and best practices in building software applications that are scalable and best-in-class. You will be joining an agile, empowered team, focused on building a range of applications and features for HPE GreenLake. The team leverages the latest cloud, micro-frontend, microservice based technologies - Scala, Java, GoLang, Python, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Apache Pulsar, Kubernetes, Istio, Cats and Geo Effects, Helm, ArgoCD, GraphQL, TimescaleDB, Postgres and many more. Responsibilities: Design and develop data engineering platform pipeline DSL that remotely collects and manages application-level information Technically lead, Design, develop, support distributed, high-throughput, low-latency, highly available, and resilient SaaS micro services Develop POC and features and help team to overcome technical challenges and to embrace new technologies Develop CICD work flows Build monitoring tools for server-side components Work cohesively in globally distributed team Develop unit and QA test cases to test your code and automate Represent the team as Tech and coordinate with US counterparts with some of the meets in US time zones Ability to navigate across projects and technically guide the team to get unblocked Inspire and mentor junior engineers on the team Education and Experience Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent discipline 8 to 15 years of relevant experience What you\'ll need (in prioritized order): Strong 5+ years of hands on development experience in Scala Functional programming Expertise in designing complex software modules from high level requirements 3+ years of experience as Tech Lead for a mid team Hands-on development experience in Akka Streaming and advanced Scala concepts such as Cats and Geo effects Hands-on development experience in complex Spark Streaming Translate design to user stories as Product Owner Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills What we\'d prefer you bring: Experience in Kafka, GraphQL, server-side programming and server less programming, including Lambda Experience in Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins Github actions, ArgoCD etc. building CICD for the micro service Exposure to Agile methodologies Exposure to Python, GoLang Experience as Scrum Master Exposure to SaaS and Cloud data engineering technologies and deployment At HPE, we\'re: .
