Job Description

1. Business Management- Manage Sales volume and market share growth by bold strategic planning and execution. Gathering competitive intelligence. Implementing sales promotion activities and strategies to keep an edge over competitors.

2. Sales - Develop action plan to achieve sales targets and make sure its implementation down the line. Proactively review the outcome of company sales efforts and take measures to increase efficiency. To take action to correct deviations. To ensure preparation of daily/monthly MIS reports.

3. Planning and implementation : Budgeting, activity planning, sales calendarization and monitoring/implementation of plans

4. Channel Management-Strategizing the distribution model, setting up the distribution network, appointing distributors, choosing segments of retail counters who would sell our product. Enhancing relationships with Channel partners.

5. Market Development- Design, execute and evaluate Market Development programs. Develop micro level plan with the sales team. Network with marketing team to co create communication plan for stakeholders and execute the same uniformly.

6. Team building-Managing and developing high performance teams, provide leadership, coaching and counselling to the sales team. Ensure that high potential team members are groomed to take on higher responsibilities. Motivating team to achieve set targets. Ensure continuous upgradation of skills of the sales team-product training for the sales team facilitate selling skills training.

7. Supply Chain-Network with Supply Chain team regarding movement of goods. Identify partners for setting up of C and FA.

8. Government liasioning-Gather information on government regulation and documentary submission. Liaise with corporate office team to gather relevant documents. Ensure regulatory compliance in relation of the business requirements. Build relationship with key policy makers & influencers.

9. Safety-Comply with safety regulations and policies of Savannah. Inculcate and promote culture of safety.

Desired Expertise :

- Undergraduate/post graduate in Agriculture. MBA will be preferred

- 10 to 15 years of experience in seed, agrochemical and fertilizer industry.

- Must have experience in managing 50 cr revenue.

- Thorough understanding of the market

- Well connected and good networking

- Strong people management skills.

- Strategic Thinker.

- Go-Getter.

- Good communication skills
