SAP PPDS with SAP PP

SAP APO/S/4HANA PPDS Consultant

Required Experience:

\xe2\x97\x8f At least 5-9 years of hands-on experience in the PPDS (Production Planning and

Detailed Scheduling) module of SAP APO or S/4HANA advanced planning, including 2-3

full life cycle project implementation.

\xe2\x97\x8f 3+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience and at least 1-2 S/4HANA end to end

implementation experience

\xe2\x97\x8f Thorough understanding of business process \xe2\x80\x93 master data/transaction data

integration, production planning, detailed scheduling heuristics and optimizer, etc.,

\xe2\x97\x8f Hands on experience in PPDS functionalities \xe2\x80\x93 Block planning, setup optimization,

finite/infinite scheduling in DS board, etc.,

\xe2\x97\x8f Hands on experience in setting up master data on PP module and integrate it with PPDS

\xe2\x97\x8f Should have experience in preparing the Process Flows in Microsoft Visio, Process

Definition Document / Design Document (PDD) and Business Process Procedure (BPP)

for the solutions provided

\xe2\x97\x8f Should be able to handle requirement gathering, blue printing, design, configuration,

functional testing (unit test, string test and integration test), data migration, test data

setup for UAT etc.

\xe2\x97\x8f Able to analyze business requirements, provide conceptual and detailed design to meet

the business requirements.

\xe2\x97\x8f Perform necessary SAP configurations, write detailed functional specifications (FSD)

for development of ABAP custom programs, testing and implementing the solution.

\xe2\x97\x8f Integration experience with PP, SD and MM

\xe2\x97\x8f Good communication and team playing skills

Nice to Have:

\xe2\x97\x8f Certification in S/4HANA is preferred.

\xe2\x97\x8f Team lead experience

\xe2\x97\x8f Experience in Activate Methodology.

\xe2\x97\x8f Experience in JIRA, HP ALM and other PMO tools.

SAP PP as Sub Skill

SAP \xe2\x80\x93 Production Planning (PP)

Roles/Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for planning and executing SAP Implementation / Development / Support activities regard to SAP Production Planning and ability to handle Production Planning processes.

\xc2\xb7 Understand client requirements, provide solutions, functional specifications and configure the system accordingly.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to create presentation/workshop decks for Blueprint that need to be conveyed and be able to present them to the client.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to create Process Flows in Microsoft Visio\xe2\x80\x99s for the client\xe2\x80\x99s proposed business processes.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to create Process Definition Document / Design Document (PDD/BDD) and Business Process Procedure (BPP) for the solutions provided.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to configure SAP PP and deliver work products / packages conforming to the Client\'s Standards & Requirements. Strong configuration hands on experience in SAP PP.

\xc2\xb7 Integration of the PP module with other SAP modules and with external applications.

\xc2\xb7 In addition to the above the candidate should have been involved in the following during the life cycle of SAP implementation:

\xc2\xb7 Unit Testing, Cycle Testing

\xc2\xb7 Integration Testing

\xc2\xb7 User Manual Preparation

\xc2\xb7 User Support activities

\xc2\xb7 Exposure to ASAP and other structured implementation methodologies

\xc2\xb7 Regularly interact with the onsite team/client

\xc2\xb7 Provide status updates in daily/weekly conference calls

\xc2\xb7 Maintain cordial relationship with onsite team/client

\xc2\xb7 Prepare test scripts and perform testing after upgrade

Skills/Experience Requirements:

MUST HAVE:

\xc2\xb7 2+years of SAP PP Functional Domain Experience and should have worked for 2 to 4 years on PP Module of SAP projects. Good understanding of PP processes in ECC 6.0

\xc2\xb7 Should be able to analyze end to end Production Planning scenarios and be able to provide an optimum solution utilizing processes available in PP.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible in studying and preparing AS-IS study, gap analysis, Blue-Print and Strong configuration hands on experience in the following PP areas

\xc2\xb7 Basic Data

\xc2\xb7 Sales & Operations Planning

\xc2\xb7 Master Planning

\xc2\xb7 MRP

\xc2\xb7 Production Orders & Confirmations

\xc2\xb7 Process Orders & Confirmations

\xc2\xb7 Make To Order

\xc2\xb7 Make To Stock

\xc2\xb7 Repetitive Manufacturing

\xc2\xb7 Regularly interact with the onsite team/client. Conduct daily/weekly conference calls. Create presentation deck and present them. Maintain cordial relationship with onsite team/client.

\xc2\xb7 Should have good written and oral communication skills

\xc2\xb7 Must be a good team player

Familiarity on the basic business processes with any of the following Functional Areas:

\xc2\xb7 SAP SD

\xc2\xb7 Worked on other modules like MM and VC along with PP
