This individual will work closely with global operations, sales, marketing, finance and other business teams to support and implement Nielsen Media’s Salesforce Org and its integrated applications. This role is part technical project manager, part power administrator and part evangelizer. This individual is also responsible for executing on the day-to-day support and improvement of the Nielsen Salesforce platform and will embrace the challenge of solving critical business problems and acting as the platform knowledge expert including assessing, vetting and contributing to both Admin and User documentation and training materials. This role is a go-to first line of response to global end-users of the Nielsen Salesforce platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • A primary Salesforce administrator for Nielsen Media global teams - including but not limited to sales, service, marketing, finance & operations.
  • Daily administration and support of the Salesforce application and users including but not limited to managing multiple user setup, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations via SF Help Ticket case process. Includes support of multiple and various application integrations including Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Service Now and other business applications·
  • Support the feature request/support backlog and work with the Nielsen Salesforce Operations and IT teams to prioritize and execute on it. Implement enhancements and roll out new features. Execute solution design activities in the defined Nielsen process requirements and protocols which may include gathering and validating business and user requirements and ensuring solutions drive user engagement and adoption. ·
  • Develop, create, and maintain customized reports and dashboards.
  • Assist in defining required features and mapping Salesforce features to business processes.
  • Assist with training, creation of training materials and user documentation and maintain for changes and enhancements including for selected integrated applications.
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce admin team to define and implement user process and user discipline best salesforce practices. This will include integrated applications with the Nielsen Salesforce instance.
  • Evangelize and drive Salesforce user adoption across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years as a Salesforce administrator and/or a Salesforce.com Administrator Certification. Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality.
  • Excellent project management skills and passion for success.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards to achieve critical business objectives.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong resourceful problem-solving skills.· Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide instruction to audiences of varying technical backgrounds.
  • Strong Google suite skills, familiarity with JIRA a plus.
  • Experience with Pardot and/or other third-party applications is a plus.
  • Experience working with sales or service teams are a plus.
  • Some nights/weekends required to support application upgrades and releases.
